Cool Cousin is a decentralized ecosystem that connects travelers with the first hand well-informed locals of their desired destination. Cool Cousin allows users to connect with one another for the purpose of acting as travel agents.
Why should you waste precious vacation time on researching about local events and places when you can find a “Cousin” who has similar tastes and who can give you unbiased information and recommendations?

Why Should You use Cool Cousin?
I know you might be wondering why you should use Cool Cousin, well, Imagine you wanting to go on vacation, and you yet to decide on the place to go obviously because of the tons of options that is available to choose from. You would probably resort to online reviews and research to enable you make a decision. However, there is a problem with that, the online reviews are not specific and they are almost never honest. Online reviews can be very misleading and almost always give imbalanced experience that favours the business rather than you the traveler. This is where Cool Cousin comes to the rescue.

What you stand to benefit from Cool Cousin
Assume you’ve been staying in your area for some years now. You would definitely know the great and fun spots, whether shopping malls, mountains, rivers, or restaurants. Now, imagine me coming to visit your city and I have the same taste as you, what do you think is the probability of me finding these great spots? I’ll tell you, less than a 50% chance.

How does the Cool Cousin Community work?
There are various types of Users, let’s take a look at them:

• Cousins & Pro-Cousins
  The locals are called Cousins. The Cousins are at the heart of the platform. These are the people who live in the destination the traveler wants to visit. In my case study, you’re the Cousin, since you know your city inside out. As a cousin, you will create profiles on the Cool Cousin Platform, then travelers like me would visit your profile and go through the map that contains your favorite spots. Not only would your profile contain a map to your favorite places, but you would also be available to answer any questions I have.
  As a Cousin, you will earn CUZ tokens from answering questions and also you would have be make sure your profile contains useful information.

• Users
  Travelers like me are the users, travelers are the ones using the service. As a traveler, I would have access to Cousin profiles, since you are a cousin, I would have access to your profile, and I can also decide to pay you from more in-depth information and services.

• Contributors
  Do you know there are more fun ways to earn CUZ rather than as a Cousin? As a traveler, I can earn by helping the Cool Cousin Community out. This can be in various forms. Take for instance, I point out some errors in the map in a cousin profile, or I share the Cool Cousin app with my friends, or I upload pictures of locations I visited, or I review the quality of the recommendations you as a Cousin offer to me from a user’s point of view. All these are fun ways of making CUZ.

• Businesses
  Businesses stand a chance to manage their contents on the platform if they are on your (Cousin) spot. Take for instance, in your favorite spot, there’s a business there, that business can decide to manage their contents on the platform, thereby attracting more customers. However, any promotional content will always be distinguished to separate it from real organic content.
