Photochain: The next generation of peer to peer photography platform

Like we all already know in this millennial era, we all connected with a global community that enables us to access data, information in easy way. In blockchain technology, there is also p2p or peer to peer system which allows us to operating our system without centralized system and increasing the security and efficiency.

Background of Photochain

Maybe we often read news on the internet that show some interesting picture after headline, but not all the news got the proper photo to support its content and this is where the stock photography is needed. There is already some stock photography like Shutterstock and Adobe Stock. But those platforms still cannot fulfil the needs of the artist. The artist not able to set their own pricing, take very long time to verify the content, and still got a large number of rejections from the photo stock platforms. And Photochain is introduced to answer all those deficiencies.

Why Photochain DApp?

There are some reason that can more convincing you why photochain can be potential platforms for your business. First, photochain applied decentralized government bodies to make sure that the network must be decentralized. Second, the photochain company always try to manage their security system well so for both artist and buyer will intended to be safe and secure. Third, their storage. They use IPFS protocol and Photochain DB to make sure that all the transaction that traded on the platform is stored decentrally and encrypted. Fourth, their content is exclusive, so such an sensitive content like pornography will be banned. And the last is, their license terms that guarantee all of the copyrights must be ensured.

Photon (Photochain token)

Photochain token or photon is used when we want to do all the transaction in the platform. It will be used to accessing some services and features on photochain. But, something that have to be noted is, the photon is pure utility token, and it means that it can not be categorized as a currency or invesmemt assets.

Roadmap

The idea of the Photochain project established on April 2017, and continue untill June 2017 to project evaluation that developing the DApp prototype. In 15 September 2017, they go-live the DApp prototype and preparing for the crowdsale on October, November 2017. They held the presale preparation on December 2017 and make the transition to Alpha-version of the photochain DApp on the first quarter of 2018. And then they held the Main Sale Event (ICO) also at the first quarter of 2018. Entering the second quarter of 2018, they also enter the operational stage of this project and continue their improvement till the third quarter of 2018.

The Team

To build this program, photochain is made up from members that have differences expertise and experience. Lead by Stanislav Stolberg and Athur Ishmetev as CTO, we believed that the two founding fathers of photochain can bring the company to reach its goal, and beome the next generation of peer to peer photography platfoms.
