VOTEM - Voting for a Mobile World
The blockchain is a new technology and it is still in active development, improvements are happening continuously, and it has become more efficient and secure than the traditional antiquated systems, which is why government, and other institutions are adopting the technology.
Blockchain enables trust to be distributed throughout a network, without the need for a central authority to track, verify and approve the digital exchange of value. It operates as a decentralized distributed database, maintaining a continuously growing list of records divided up into blocks. Legacy will take advantage of this technology to be decentralized and place its trust in its users.
Many people have a long history of problems at the polling station, and not just the potentially agonizing choice over whom to vote for. From practical problems to intimidation, there are dozens of difficulties that have befallen people trying to have their voices heard. During any primary-election season, voters encountered problems ranging from long lines to incorrect registration rolls.
Election Day has always been complicated, the ways in which voting has been made difficult over the years are consistent, and they fall into just two categories: problems of technology and problems of access.
As we all know, Every Country, Institutions, Governing bodies needs leaders. And for that to happen, a free and fair election is conducted. But despite the proliferation of neutral election observers and the advancement of certain
voting technologies, there is still no globally accepted way to verify electronic voting as 100% accurate.
Therefore, i introduce you to a project, VOTEM.
Votem is Founded in 2014, and wants to change the way we vote and also believes that mobile voting will create positive change in the world by bringing modern voting to the world.
At Votem, we have dedicated ourselves to creating a remote electronic voting system, engineered from the ground up, to exceed the safeguards and verifiability of in-person, paper-
based elections. Only with this kind of system can online voting adoption accelerate in the face of hacking and privacy concerns.
