Its a good post, and a marvelous idea but its a scary idea too... a global economy? Such an omnipotent device? I do not know, it's something that needs to be studied, it can really be against us, and I'm not talking about the exterminator's movie, but I say, that a chip does everything for us, is it not risky?
I think this is a risk. But the risk is not connected with the fact that artificial intelligence will become autonomous and independent. It's still very far, if at all possible. But the risks have a place to be anyway. They are related to technical and social issues. Technical risks include kybercrime. Social risks include clergy opposition, resistance to innovation, antiglobalists and racists. The human body tends to fear the new. We must realize this and not let our fears hamper progress.
