Former CEO of Microsoft Steve Ballmer has an amazing Blockchain idea! In this video segment with Bloomberg Technology on Social Networks, Steve Ballmer details how it's not really Facebook, Microsoft, or Twitter's job to "police" the news but perhaps rather make news sources more verifiable.

Enter Blockchain. This reminds me of the Blockchain project Trutheum, where people bid and vote on the truth. But moreso at least as a first step, verifying the source of news could be a huge benefit for Social Networking where, let's face it, most people get their news. Maybe even Civic (CVC) will find a role here.
