Almost every aspect of our life has been infiltrated by technology. It has made our life comfortable, faster, active and dynamic, and all this has become possible because of the development of various softwares, applications, computer programs and the like.

Take an example of our smart phone. We would not find it attractive, if there were no apps. However, for developing these apps and softwares, we need the services of computer programmers or software developers. According to a report from VisionMobile, 4.5 million developers would be required by 2020 to contribute to app development. Thus it is obvious that we need abundance of skilled resources and huge capital for app development.

Another thing is that to run these computer programs, there is a global need of a high computing power utilization. The processing resources of all the personal computing devices, notepads, desktops, laptops, etc are going to waste by not being used most of the time.

With Crowd Machine, a solution to both these issues can be found! 

Crowd machine is a decentralized and sophisticated technology, consisting of: 

1. Crowd Computer, 
2. Crowd App Studio, and 
3. Crowd Share. 

Crowd Machine has been in development for the last 5 years. It aims to enable non-developers or non-technical population with no coding and programming knowledge to create decentralized apps on the decentralized cloud without writing the code, thus diminishing the need to be dependent on the developers or pay to get the desired technology. Further, it would harness or bring into use the processing resources of computational devices in exchange for reward.

Crowd Computer

Crowd computer is a decentralized, peer-to-peer network that executes decentralized apps and blockchain smart contracts using shared computing power. Crowd Computer aims to replace the public cloud service providers such as Amazon Web Services and Azure.

As we know that it requires capital to develop and maintain servers, especially in large corporations, Crowd Computer would utilize the unused computational resources of the internet users, and the device owners who allow their devices to perform these actions get incentives in the form of Crowd Machine Compute Tokens, or CMCT; thus it is a great way to monetize one’s computational power that is otherwise not being used. All the devices in the Crowd Machine network, such as laptops, desktops, mobile phones or servers can be seen as a global decentralized processor.

Crowd App Studio

Crowd Machine aims to enable the people with no programming background or skills to develop blockchain-based and traditional applications through Crowd App Studio and deploy them to the Crowd Computer. The app creation process, is thus automated and can be implemented at 45 times faster speed as compared to the current centralized app development approaches.

There are a variety of built-in designs and features in the Crowd App Studio that facilitates the app creation process to meet the user’s needs. 

To summarize, Crowd App Studio, with a simple drag-and-drop interface can be used to develop an app while alleviating the need to understand computer languages and reducing the amount of effort required in app creation.

Crowd Share

Crowd Share is a source repository similar to GitHub where the Crowd Machine content can be stored and downloaded and used free of cost by the Crowd Machine community. Thus, it minimizes the need to create some components of an app from scratch.

It also enables the developers to commercialize and monetize their source code in an open marketplace.

Crowd Machine Compute Tokens - CMCT

CMCT is an ERC20 token with a supply for 2 billion tokens, and you can use these tokens in Crowd Machine ecosystem to purchase the source code or an application. App owners also need these tokens to be able to host their apps on Crowd Computer.

Get Rewards in CMCT

Crowd Machine rewards the app creator in CMCT for contributing their source code to the Crowd Share repository. The coder is compensated each time the source code is used on Crowd Computer. Thus, the community app developers, coders and device owners are rewarded in CMCT each time their content is executed or their computing resources are utilized in the Crowd Machine ecosystem.
