Your explanation was so funny and sadly, so true. People better "get with the program!" For the longest time, I couldn't get over how a fax machine worked and thought it was a fabulous thing...can you believe that? HaHa! I know a few people who don't have a computer and no desire to get one. I would be lost without mine! At least we are "with it" as old timers. Great post as always. :)
Don't laugh but I've still got a fax machine in the cupboard and believe it or not I was still using it 7 years ago when I leaved in South Africa. It was the only way to deal with many organisations there. Banks lawyers etc.
It's hard to understand how many people still have no clue about tech you and I take for granted?
We are the silver surfers lol
Molometer, you outdid yourself again. I love how you see the world and how you write. I did look up your source and watched Anders Brownworth explain the block chain. I appreciate how you take the time to research things to help others. I always look forward to your posts. Thank-you!...Cabbagepatch :D
Anders made a very clear and understandable video on the block chain.
I refuse to reinvent the wheel when a great example already exists.
Tell me @cabbagepatch did you 'get it' first time? lol
@melinda010100 and I discussed the outhouses of our childhoods. And the fact that many still exit to this day even in London.
Thanks for making the connection with the blockchain and the bogchain. @old-guy-photos
The silver surfers, grey nomads or oldtimers catch on fast once they know how much money they can avoid paying the banks.
They remember a time before everyone had bank accounts and people paid in cash on the barrel head.
They are the fastest growing group adopting cryptocurrencies. They've seen the sense of it...eventually lol
I downloaded the entire blockchain of Litecoin. I'm going to do a bit of mining.
It took 4 hours on my crap BT broadband connection. It's fascinating and pretty simple to do. The computer does all the work. I just have to set it up and run it.

Too late...I am laughing about your fax machine. And laughed even harder when you said, "We are the silver surfers." I Love that! :) :) :)

Are you testing me??? :D lol
I wouldn't dream of doing something so pointless.
This is for people who have no information about the whole block-chain concept. ;)
Nice outhouse pics!! Did you happen to see the nice ones @melinda010100 did??

Did you try it out?
