BUSINESS ANALYSIS
In every business, there are always some major key strength, weakness, opportunity and threat areas. Today, I want to discuss the major key swot analysis areas of the PDATA platform. In my last post, I tried to explain what the PDATA project is all about. Now, let us look at their swot business analysis.

STRENGTH
The PDATA platform strength lies in the fact that it has been in business for a long and has a working platform and an actual customer base. Also coming at a time where the protection of individual Data is mostly sort after, and presenting a platform where personal data is secured and not only secured one can earn from their Data gives it more advantage over other Data companies out there.

WEAKNESS

The only weakness which I have thought of in this project is the non-mass adoption of cryptocurrency. Many countries have not yet adopted the use of cryptocurrency and everything done on the PDATA platform will be incentivized using the PDATA token. and in some of these areas, individuals from there won’t be able to take part and enjoy all the benefits in the platform. Maybe the integration of fiat payment for such people in the Platform will go a long way to help everyone take part in the platform.

OPPORTUNITY
With Data being sort after as it was with Gold, the PDATA platform has the chance to make a name for itself through its introduction of a decentralized platform for trading of personal data. With the platform, people’s eye will be opened, and they can see what they are able to achieve by just providing their personal Data which they have always provided without being paid. The PDATA platform will enable people to see their Data in a new light.

THREATS

With the traditional way of getting Data without the owner’s consent which has been predominant and has made many companies and individuals multi-millionaires, such individuals and companies will try to fight against the success of the PDATA platform or they might even try to cripple it as it is coming to revolutionize their way of living. These big players who have been in the Data system will stand as a big opposer to the PDATA platform simply because the platform aims to take the powers over individuals personal Data from these big players and give it back to the individuals.

Despite all the weakness and threats, it is good to note that what the PDATA platform is bringing to the masses, will surpass this weakness and threats thereby ushering it into a whole new success phase. This is because the PDATA platform is people-centered: helping individuals earn with their personal Data and also company centered: helping companies source for their Data needs. This two major areas individuals and companies are the major movers here. If the individuals get paid using the platform, they will spread the word about how good the platform is and if the companies, uses it to achieve their data needs and move their business further due to the availability of high-quality data, the word will spread like wide fire and everyone will come to see how good the platform is.
All this simply goes to show how good and beneficial the platform is and also how its services will place it above all threats that might come up along the line.
