Essentia - Gateway to the New Web
In the last few years, we have witnessed a tremendous adoption & growth in social interactions through the web in the form of photos, videos, social media, e-commerce etc. and this entire ecosystem came to be popularly referred to as Web 2.0. With the advent blockchain & decentralized systems, a new paradigm known as Web 3.0, is assuming great relevance. Web 3.0 will facilitate genuine peer to peer social interactions eliminating middlemen and more importantly distributes power among the users who interact within the system. The key actors driving the Web 3.0 revolution are decentralized networks and dapps that solve serious issues. Essentia, a framework for decentralized data management is one of them and will act as a gateway to the new web consisting of decentralized apps, wallets, and other platforms.
While the Web 2.0 saw gigantic corporations such as Amazon, Facebook & Google take control of users' data, Web 3.0 through a decentralized service like Essentia aims to empower the users by giving them control over own their own data and identity. Essentia will present a novel way for the users to interact with the Web giving them full information & control over their data, also presenting a unique opportunity for third parties and decentralised applications to make use of this user data to build and/or improve their services.
Essentia is basically a Decentralized Modular Framework-cum-Operating system. The framework essentially has 3 core components namely ESS-ID, ESS-HOME, and ESS-OS. The ESS-ID is a Hierarchical Deterministic (HD) wallet that is generated by a human or machine for anonymously interacting with the blockchain. Since it's controlled via a dedicated hardware-key, there is a higher level of security. ESS-ID facilitates exclusive ownership and control by the user and it links to their' ID's and data. Further, it also consists of framework-specific infrastructure, configurations, and data. ESS-Home is the decentralized data environment that will operate inside an operating system while the ESS-OS defines the operating system itslef. Acting as a blockchain gateway and interface, these 2 in combination, form a powerful and trustable modular framework for executing transactions, trading, development, mining, interaction etc. For example, with this combo, users will be able to store, restore, access and use, their data from any location. The framework can be deployed in a Browser, Mobile Operating Systems (iOS, Android), on any desktop, server or dedicated devices.
Use cases would include decentralized passwordless logins and KYC Registrations for individuals while for corporations Essentia offers oracles for smart contracts and 100% GDPR compliant data management framework wherein users are given the ability to opt-in or out of their own data sharing. Projects already integrated with Essentia include the likes of Gnosis, Bitcoin, Ethereum, IPFS, Aragon, Storj.

Token, Sale Info & Team
The native token is called ESS and is an ERC20 token that will be used pay for services and features within the Essentia framework. ESS will be used to pay for storage and upgrades. Further, token will also have utility functions such as enabling governance and reputation systems. The ESS token crowdsale details are given below;
