Effect.AI - Democratizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) through the Blockchain

These were Alan Turing's words in 1950, a notable mathematician and one of the pioneers of computer science, Turing had hinted that the discussions about the ability of the machines to think would become pretty "normal" in the modern era, in which we all live today. And he was right! Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning have gone on to become the most talked about and intriguing subjects within modern computer science as they possess the ability to disrupt every industry; science, commerce, military, medicine - you name it.
Just like AI & Machine Learning, in the recent years, we have seen the dawn of a new technology that can potentially disrupt the status quo of traditional exchanging, computing and storage. I'm talking about Blockchain technology that is supposed to bring about a new era in distributed computing. The decentralized systems that can be built on top of this fascinating technology will shape up modern marketplaces, exchanges, and services that are secure, scalable, transparent and hassle-free.
While AI can be intriguing as it is, it should be noted that it is one of the most intricate subjects out there. Machine learning, for example, will involve data collection, data extraction, training models, tuning models etc. Among these, training models with large datasets is a highly technical task and require expertise. However, there are other tasks that are seemingly "simpler" - e.g Labeling. Labeling is a process by which humans make various judgments on raw data given as input to them and convert it into "Labeled" data.
To understand this concept better, let's look at the photograph shown above. This photograph is given to a human participant and a question like "What type of bottle do you see in the photo?" is asked. The human response shall be "beer", which will be recorded and this entire process of assigning "tag" or a "label" is called labeling. This labeled data will be then used to train models during Supervised learning. A typical trained data will involve labeling of potentially millions of specimens which in turn will require a proportionate number of human participants known as Mechanical Turks.
Now imagine if you are able to combine the power of AI and the blockchain to create a decentralized marketplace in which these "micro-tasks" are assigned to individuals all around the world who will then get paid once they complete these tasks. Effect.AI will create such a decentralized market operating fully on smart contracts deployed on the NEO blockchain which when compared to a centralized solution like the Amazon Mechanical Turk, is more performant, inclusive and transparent. More importantly, a decentralized marketplace like Effect.AI will the eliminate the "intermediary" that demands a percentage share from the "Requesters" and the "Workers". The state-of-the-art marketplace will be available to "Requesters" of all countries around the globe without any discrimination and instantly remunerate the workers for their work. By contrast, the Amazon M-Turk is available only to "Requesters" from 43 of 195 countries in the world (source).. The transactions will be powered by the native EFX token based on the NEP-5 standard of NEO.
The Effect.AI ecosystem is not just about a decentralized marketplace for AI-related labeling tasks. In the near future, the team plans to set up a decentralized market to allow for trading of smart AI algorithms through which developers or application owners will be able to earn EFX tokens. And finally, there is the more ambitious goal of establishing a means to distribute the computational power required to run deep learning frameworks. I'm also looking forward to the other cool stuff they bring to the table.

I've heard about effect.ie and I would also love to hear what do you think about DBC (Deepbrain Chain) and Singularity. How those two look comparing to effect.ie in your opinion?
Im personally quite bullish on DBC (mostly because DBC is related to NEO) and I hope to hear what do you think about this coin.
