BitStash is a peer to peer (P2P) crypto commerce marketplace that allows buyers and sellers to purchase or list products, goods or services. The BitStash platform provides a simple and secure market for users to transact smoothly with each other and with trusted protection provided by our escrow system. BitStash aims to be the ultimate solution for reliable source vendors who accept cryptocurrency and STASH Token as payment. All vendors will offer quality creation on the website to ensure consumers have quality experience on the platform. We have a 100% working platform that currently lives and accepts the overall vendor use of the globe.
BitStash Marketplace is very easy to use for the two vendors and members. Simply create a record, choose whether you are a vendor or a consumer. After the registration is complete, you will have an active record in BitStash. This means you presently have Bitcoin and Ethereum Wallet security (more coins will be added soon).
To complete your purchase, you must store your Bitcoin or Ethereum wallet. Once funded, simply search the online marketplace and view the vendor's products. Just pick the item you like and add it to your truck, or continue with the payment. Amid the payment process, you will be offered a shipping alternative, and cryptocurrency you need to complete the transaction inside.
BitStash has been designed to meet each one of these items.
Must provide a secure operating environment, exposing a limited set of secured operations, with no capacity for malware to be loaded on device.
Must keep private keys and or seed secure inside the device. Encrypt keys and or seed, and use pbkdf2 extension to prevent rainbow table attacks. Do this even if persistent storage/memory on the hardware is considered trusted/secure.
Must have a secure, genuinely random source of entropy for key/seed generation.
Must be capable of creating secure backups for recovery purposes. This process must not be capable of being comprised by malware infected client computer.
Recovery procedure must be entirely secure, and not have weaknesses exposed by malware driven clients.
Must be capable of signing transactions of self-assertive size, without restrictions on the number of UTXOs or inputs.
Must support P2SH, multi-sig transactions.
Must not generate weak signatures. ECDSA signatures have a weakness, wherein repeated R values leaked to the blockchain take into consideration private key theft. When signing transactions device must generate k, from which R is derived, in such a way that k is always unique. Some RNGs can't guarantee this. Preferably, use RFC 6979 as a way to deal with deterministically guarantee unique k.
Must prevent malware miner fee attacks by approving, on the device, UTXO source transactions. More complicated than it sounds, since source transaction size is outside the control of the user, so potentially multi-megabyte transactions need to be validated by independently hashing TXs on the hardware device. Solving this problem with a user friendly, simple to use solution.
Must prevent malware address attacks, that is be capable of approving addresses that bitcoin is being sent to are the intended addresses the user wants. Preferably this also means also including Bip70 payment protocol support, approving the certificates associated with a payment transaction on the device.
Provide two factor authentication or entirely air gapped PIN/Password entry to prevent key logged malware access.
All data on the device needs to be secure from physical tampering and electronic side channel attacks. Preferably physically destroying chips to prevent sophisticated recovery attacks. See FIPS 140– 2 level 4.
Device should remain secure in the event of theft. So PIN entry back-off algorithms, sleep modes and self destruct features required.
Device should enforce an authentication confirmation that it is YOUR device and not some other malware device that has been substituted trying to acquire your credentials. This confirmation should be a cryptographic signature and not just a name tag displayed on the device.
In the event that the device's firmware is upgradeable, the device needs to protect against malware driven, non authentic firmware updates.
Provide for a seamless, easy to use end user experience, capable of being executed by non technical users. Basic for mass appropriation of solution.
Not require the use of a Third Party service to operate, for both protection and business progression reasons.
Provide robust client device and user authentication features, such as cryptographic signatures.
