Neat rundown. Any idea of how they want to implement this? Doing any AI related computations over the network is slower than doing it locally and there are some projects that have the idea of distributed computing over the network embeded into them for some reason. So either the work split would have to be really good and efficient or each node is going to have to be very powerfull.
The other problem I see is sharing data. I am not sure how many companies would be willing or even able to get away with sharing their businesses data - especially when it comes to information about their customers. I would personally be very skeptical about sending that sort of data over the network. Some identifying attributes would have to be removed which is going to make the predictions worse.
How is private data going to be secured? Who is going to have access to it? A lot more questions come to mind - so DYOR. I am a bit unconvinced at the moment.
