RE: Leveraging opportunities on the blockchain - Bitshares and OpenLedger to bank the unbanked
One of the potentially most powerful collaborations in the Bitshares ecosystem coming up in near future is OpenLedger’s integration with the special debitcard provided by the universal crypto service provider CoinsBank
Unfortunately, coinsbank.com sits behind Cloudflare, an American company that performs a man-in-the-middle attack.
When CoinsBank customers load the main website, it is with Cloudflare, and not with CoinsBank, that their computers are speaking to.
Unfortunately, there is no visual indication that this breach is taking place.
This means that any and all data that is sent to/from CoinsBank is actually captured, in clear text, by Cloudflare, an American company.
For this reason I personally opt out of using CoinsBank, as to do so would imply losing control over my personal details to an American company, without my consent.
Good catch.
How might this concern be addressed, @bloggersclub?
