Once AI's integrate with systems like this, the containers can simply manage themselves.
Do you think containers will start to own/finance/manage themselves at some point? Some think self-driving cars will ultimately own/maintain/drive/finances themselves soon...there will probably be a similar phenomena in shipping/logistic, IMHO.
I think it should be happen in the near future. Blockchain can be integrated with self-service systems that can manage themselves. Like a coffee machine that self-pays coffee beans and electricity through a smart contract.
There will be shipping containers that look for the best deals and get themselves to the best deal for buying and selling their products.
Sounds reasonable.
