If more goverments follow this approach we should have a very well technology integrated society. Just think what this will mean for cross border transactions and imports and exports.
Yes, it is not really that far fetched for this to happen... everyone gets a number from the same block chain world wide... interesting
It would probably take a global economic collapse for something like this to take place globally, but we may not be far off from one with all the currency debasing and central bank induced stimulus. You can't solve a debt problem with more debt...
