Whats the deal with steemit nowadays?

Guys Im comming back checking out the platform and it looks like a dried out version of what once stood... ...

Steemit seemed like it was on the brink of becoming a very viable site, it was just missing something...

Now it looks like the old sites that were actually good, aka dtube, dlive, etc, are all gone, on other networks etc.

Im sure that this is all just robots / fake interactions, but if anyone is out there and a human being, please direct me to some projects on this blockchain -> anything active i dont care if it's an upvote community, or something I can upload things to aka videos etc, and people are there to watch them.
