The Biggest Invention since the Internet.... BLOCKCHAIN

Have you heard of blockchain?

If not, learn about it now, so you'll know what all the fuss is about, when you eventually hear about it from someone else!

As I've heard it explained, blockchain is kind of like an online ledger, that is distributed in different places on the Internet or in the Cloud.

It's what Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are based on.

According to Wikipedia, (the first part of a more-lengthy description)...

"A blockchain – originally block chain – is a distributed database that is used to maintain a continuously growing list of records, called blocks. Each block contains a timestamp and a link to a previous block. A blockchain is typically managed by a peer-to-peer network collectively adhering to a protocol for validating new blocks. By design, blockchains are inherently resistant to modification of the data. Once recorded, the data in any given block cannot be altered retroactively without the alteration of all subsequent blocks and the collusion of the network. "

BLOCKCHAIN is a VERY BIG DEAL, and many are calling this the biggest thing, since the Internet itself.
