IBM Inaugurates Blockchain-Based Food Tracking Ecosystem

IBM yesterday announced the inception of its blockchain-based food tracking ecosystem-Food Trust- after 18 months of testing, according to Cointelegraph.
Two major food retailers- France-based Carrefour and US-based Walmart- will adopt IBM's food tracking solution for their stores.
IBM, together with China-based e-commerce giant Alibaba- is currently in first place with respect to the number of blockchain-related patents filed globally, Cointelegraph reported.
