Facebook forms a team of experts in Blockchain
The social media giant Facebook is working tirelessly to maximize the use of crypto-currencies and large distributed registry (DLT) technology. The company's Blockchain division is actively seeking talent to complement its team, despite the downward trend in the value of Bitcoin and altcoins.
Projects for Blockchain and digital currencies?
Facebook goes out of its way to fuel its talent pool. There are quite a few job vacancies , such as Product Manager , Blockchain Finance Analyst, Data Scientist, and others.
These job offers are underwritten on the company's Washington DC and Tel Aviv sites.
In parallel with this Blockchain skill development effort, social media would be willing to launch its own cryptocurrency known as FBCoin or Face Coin. This is a stablecoin for WhatsApp users .
A New York Times report refers to the registration of cryptocurrency for transactional purposes on cryptocurrency trading platforms.
However, Facebook has been very discreet about it.

The company is exploring the crypto sector with a view to making it a milestone, particularly in the areas of health, financial services and information.
