The exact amount that you have to invest depends on you but as usual i would say invest with an amount you can afford to lose. Hey do you mind if i ask how high is the cost of living in Venezuela. i learnt that salaries are nothing to write home about.

The minimum wage is constantly rising due to inflation. At the moment it is 40,000.00 Bolívares Soberanos (Bs) (about $6, a little more, a little less). However, we are already getting to the point where the basic basket is about to reach $550.
