EFFECTIVE INCENTIVE MECHANISMS FOR ACCURATE DATA WITH QUADRANT

From time to time companies, institutions,organizations & other kinds of social/ commercial services require feedback from consumers who directly or indirectly patronize their services; however feedback are regarded as ways or means to which information ( data) that are accurate can be gotten from consumers of that commodity or services, the aims of any feedback is to first get accurate data and secondly is to improve service delivery.

As easy as it may seem the challenge of getting data producers to offer data have over time proven difficult & also very demanding. During research the sole aim of the researcher ( data consumer/ vendor) is to collate accurate data that can be adequately used to gain a level of insight & understanding so as to aid enterprise decisions and the challenges beguiling this process are the unwillingness of data producers ( nurseries) to offer not just any data but accurate data and for there to be a change in this trends there is need for evoking data producers interest and awareness towards the need for them to offer accurate data and this can only be possible adopting an already preexisting traditional means of incentives in exchange for accurate data. This in place will serve as the only way to be sure of authenticity and honesty in the data provided .

The incentives mechanisms are a means to both gain interest in a feedback project and to eschew honesty as regards to the data's provided. Although the traditional approach of incentives seem to suffer short comings as there is a high possibility of getting the wrong kind of data from the wrong kind of people but it may seem the merits an incentive based system for getting data outweighs the demerits.

Other issues facing data authenticity and its availability is the obvious widening data gap that have much grown between the have and have-nots, unsuitability in the generation & distribution of payment to data providers. Other challenges are the increasing supply of wrong ( fake) data that will in turn thwart the efficiency and efficacy of the algorithm.

Promoting data using incentive based mechanism is the still the best because it eschews sustainability and assurance of constant data delivery from data providers; because data producers will be always willing to offer more accurate data as long as they are being paid adequately for it. Quadrant gives a level of effrontery & uniqueness to the previously existing traditional incentives based system by employing technology based techniques like no other.
