RankingBall - platform for sports and esports

Lately there has been a fierce debate as to whether or not eSports is a sport.

In order to answer the question, is eSports really a sport, let's see what "sport" is.

Wikipedia says: "Sport is a people-organized activity that is organized according to certain rules, which is a comparison of their physical or intellectual abilities, as well as preparation for this activity and interpersonal relations arising in its process.

Simply put, sport is designed to improve physical and psychological skills, increase intelligence, get moral satisfaction, striving for excellence, improving personal, group and absolute records, fame.

Based on the definition, you can notice the clear similarities of sport with e-sports. First of all, it is a competitive spirit and the desire to be the best.

Let's analyze why cybersport is considered a sport.

On cybersport matches 10k + stadiums are collected, more than 24 million prize-winning games in one championship, more than 10 million viewers watch the games simultaneously. Young players are equal to their idols, working on themselves and sometimes sacrifice even study for the sake of achieving results. When the interest in this kind of activity is so huge, there is an insanely interesting competitive part in it, otherwise it can not be called sport!

But, you object, as people who spend hours sitting at computers and nothing more difficult than mice not raising, you can call athletes? It is important to understand that sports are not just physical activities. Then it would be impossible for chess players to be called athletes, because they only do that they sit for hours on the chessboard and move the figures. Or the same curling, where people just rub the floor. There are many examples.

Many professional players in Dota2 or CS: GO spend 10-12 hours per day on monitors and perfect their skills to perfection. Not every football player can boast such an intense schedule of training. Some e-sports teams spend many more official matches a week than the same football clubs. In e-sports, as in sports, teamwork, reaction, and the ability to predict the actions of an opponent are very important.

In big sports there are more money. The same thing can be said about computer sports. For example, the prize fund of the largest tournament on Dota 2 - The International 2017 was more than $ 24,000,000. Liquid's team, which won first place, received a cash prize of $ 10,862,683. Each member of the team earned about $ 2,000,000.

Expensive contracts and crazy transfers are all about eSports too. It's hard to believe that a person who just sits at the computer and plays the game is paid such an incredible amount. However, all this is a reality and soon the prize money, contracts and the cost of transfers in e-sports will only grow.

And the most important thing is that already over 20 countries at the state level have equated cybersport to sports, among which are such countries as Korea, China, Russia, France, Italy and even Nepal!

RankingBall was originally developed as an interactive sports platform that combines sports betting, live broadcast, fan community and marketing channels in partnership with sports media.
It is designed to watch live broadcasts on mobile phones and participate in real-time bets for major events such as the Olympic Games, the World Cup, and so on.

RankingBall generates revenue by turning ordinary viewers into gamers and helping sports media get a wider audience.

The RankingBall platform also features seasonal sports such as baseball, football and basketball, which makes RankingBall an independent platform.

To develop and promote the RankingBall platform, partnerships have already been made with major sports media in Korea, such as KBS, KBSN and SBS, and negotiations are under way with ESPN and CBS in the US. In the growing field of e-sports, closed beta tests were conducted with such big names as League of Legends, Counter Strike: Global Offensive and DOTA 2. Also the RankingBall team provided a partnership with Battlegrounds Player Unknown.

Although RankingBall has been working as an independent platform to date, it was created to work with game developers and publishers, streamers and the media.

RankingBall will release its own currency, based on the blockchain, RankingBall Gold (RBG), which improves the user experience and makes games more fun, and also increases the efficiency and security of the platform.
