The Interbit Private Distributed Accounting Platform , designed by BTL Group , completed a 12-week pilot program a few days ago, introducing three energy-trading giants in the era of blockchains: British BP, Eni Trading & Shipping, from Italy, and Wien Energie from Austria.

The pilot test allowed the construction of a blockchain solution for the confirmation of energy exchange - succeeding in eight different scenarios - ran the blockchain platform of BTL, Interbit, in parallel with the current systems of each one of these companies.

Following the success of this pilot, the next step, as noted by the BTL Group team, who worked with the EY firm during this stage, is to begin implementing this application of blockchain technology in the production phase in living environments, And at the same time extend the invitation to others to explore the performance of Interbit applications for another six months of preproduction of the project.

The BTL Group team describes the Interbit platform as a system capable of supporting a wide range of FinTech applications: confirmations, updates, invoice generation, settlement, audit reporting and regulatory compliance, which would allow companies to reduce risks and production costs. In terms of security, the platform could be a barrier to cyber attacks.

During the test stage, other areas of business could be seen in which these energies will be able to take advantage of the Interbit platform of the BTL Group, reason why the company has begun to explore different applications of technology for additional units of business.
