The internet and blockchain go hand-in-hand nowadays in our world. With so many users of the internet and emerging technological advancements, many people are tapping in the power of the internet in their lives. Gone are the days where only the rich and wealthy only have the power to surf the web and gather information online.

I remember the days wherein the internet is just a tool for easier communication around the globe and used for e-mails, video conferencing and chatting. But as time goes by, e-commerce growth rose exponentially. Our digital space became too much commercialized that in order for social media websites and video streaming websites to earn, they are collecting data from those people just like me and you reading this blog post, not just data where you go in and search about something but they are tracking our personal details, sensitive information and as well as vital financial information that should be kept secret only by us individuals. But because of the data being transferred to these companies harvesting data, in return, we are being bombarded with ads of many different kinds and it is not just an ordinary ad but a targeted ad based on the simple 'search' you have made online or when you go search your favorite meal or product that you need online. It is being registered and queried by the AI and other web-crawlers to give the most winning ad that would turn you into a customer buying the product being advertised.

It seems voluntary at first if you may ask me. But these advertisements and data collecting is also known as manipulation or brain conditioning. Wherein people give their expensive personal data to these companies getting data and then they will sell it in exchange of monetary gains without giving back to these content and data providers or creators which is us!

What is IOVO?
--> IOVO, also called as the Internet of Value Omniledger. Is a decentralized human value blockchain network. It aims to benefit us, as an everyday internet user to be in control again of our own data. To have a price for it even it is priceless. Because that is our identity! Our identities, needs and wants should be reciprocated with good intentions such as having monetization as well for all of us providing this vital data to these data companies. With IOVO, our data will never be exploited ever again.

Features of IOVO- There are many features of IOVO wherein we could use in order to take back control of what is ours. Here are they as I read their whitepaper:

Users will be able to share what they want only to share and be able to receive rewards based on the data they share and the data they generate.
A POV or Proof-of-Value coin. When we say Proof of value, it is in the contents of the blockchain network that is being valued at and not what work is being done. All of the mintings of coins are in the process of inter-exchanging data in the IOVO network.
Fastest transaction time and one of the largest transaction carrier in the blockchain network.
Guys, picture this. This is from IOVO's scalability program and this is what they will deliver for us worldwide.

As you could see in here, those are extremely fast transaction times with a great quantity of transactions compared to the blockchains that we could see in the cryptocurrency community.

Speaking of this incredible speed, it is what the IOVO team is proud of. The IOVO DAG which is the next-generation blockchain. It has 256 shards that sync in less than a second and transacts 350,000 transactions per second as seen above in this picture.

IOVO TOKENOMICS and usage

Alright. So basically, IOVO tokens are the ones that make the proof of value algorithm at work for the IOVO ecosystem.
As a user, we earn tokens by curating data blocks and verifying it as well as the transactions in these blocks with the staked IOVO as well based on the contributions of their data to the network. While the outsider companies trying to get data from the users will need to have IOVO tokens in order for them to get the data they need for their research, ad targeting or whatever they need for those geographical data and precious data from users of IOVO.

Not only that! IOVO supports us users to make own tokens on the IOVO blockchain DAG. Which means that we can make our own Dapps running on the IOVO blockchain.

I liked how this project will revolutionize on how to see look at our data being given for free. We are the value. We own it. We protect it. And this team below will make it happen. Instead of just being given away, we can monetize it and make the world a better and secured place. Instead of giving it to big companies, there are people who could buy food with the data they have. And that my friend, is changing the world.
