DAV - blockchain platform for transportation by autonomous vehicles
Thanks to the blockchain technology many interesting ideas made a leap forward. For example, the "Internet of Things" has found a real platform for smart gadgets interaction among themselves.
Autonomous vehicles are even more advanced devices. The use of an autopilot for vehicle control offers great prospects not only in the goods delivery, but also in passenger transportation.
Many companies are developing such technologies, and have already achieved some success. Already there is drone delivery.
The DAV team decided to systematically approach the issue and connect the various companies into one network using common software, general terms of cooperation and a common payment system.
The project covers such modern autonomous vehicles as drones, unmanned vehicles and boats, robotic carts and others.
It is assumed that the platform will provide them with two types of interaction protocols.
One, based on the blockchain technology and regulated through smart-contracts, will be control the system of orders, payment, arbitration and insurance.
Second one, a decentralized peer-to-peer protocol will allow devices to interact with each other in order to negotiate certain parameters.
For example, to solve the last-mile delivery problem, the drone can unload its cargo onto the robot cart. These devices need to accurately determine the coordinates where the transshipment will occur, specify the weight of the cargo, the volume and other technical parameters.
Another example could be the interaction of an unmanned vehicle and a battery charging station when it is necessary to reconcile the connection method, the charging current and time.
The DAV project provides the ability to generate revenue for many ecosystem participants.
These include:
- vehicles owners;
- those who maintain the infrastructure - charging stations, garages and parking for drones, service centers, search -
engines - and search for lost or damaged devices; - manufacturers, producing equipment with open source, able to integrate into the DAV ecosystem;
- insurance companies;
- arbitrators facilitating conflicts resolution between participants in the platform;
- software and hardware developers.
Another way to get income in the ecosystem, in addition to payment for services - is material encouragement from other participants.
The main payment instrument on the platform will be DAV token, fully compliant with the ERC-20 standard and supporting the use of smart-contracts.

To implement their plans and ambitious road map, the DAV team decided to conduct crowdsale.
Dates of the main token sale stage are preliminary indicated as follows:
- start - April 30, 2018;
- finish - May 14, 2018.
DAV tokens will be sold at the rate of 10,000 DAV for 1 ETH: 1.
The minimum goal is set at $ 5 million, and the hardcap is $ 38 million.
