BizShake – A Sharing System on the Blockchain – Part 1 Smart and Save

When I first stumbled into the BizShake project I instantly remembered a part of my past. Before I go into some technical details of BizShake, I would like to share with you a short epoisode revealing myself.

Nearly twenty years ago I used to play in a partially hard, and partialy metal band in the northern area of Germany.
Every member of our band had his own instrument, but while we have grown into a real band, we still did not have enough money to buy better ones. As students we always were short of money. Whenever there was a party during the weekend, there also were girls, that we wanted to make an impression on, so we had to save as much, as it was possible in order to realize our plans.. While chasing a young mans dream to find his wonderwoman, we - as a band - ended up being booked by some really great clubs. With empty pockets we were forced to borrow some equipment and better instruments, to obtain the best possible sound. After a few gigs and no money earned, but spent, we had to give everything back with a huge loss. A broken guitar and some transport damage at the drums. After this crushing experience, we were slowly fading away. It might have happened anyways, but I still have the feeling, that we just needed a positive outcome. Instead, we were devastated financially.

Today I wonder if the outcome would have been different with the possibility of a system BizShake is providing soon. So what exactly do they plan to achieve?

First of all, they will bring awareness to our behaviour. They will show us, that we are buying things only to buy more, and after that even more then previously, leaving everything relatively unused behind. The question is: is there a way to make all of these useful items, usable for others, who are not willing to buy everything new, or can't afford it?

The example from my own life is one of those, which would fit into more than just one of those categories. In Berlin I am seeing many shops with used cloths, that are flurishing for years. Can we have this kind of „use the used“ principle available all the time? BizShake says yes, and to accomplish it, they will create a platform, which will provide the fully functional service for it.

It's called „Smart Rent“ and will allow one user to rent items for a certain time from another user. So one will not be forced to buy - for example - a new guitar for just a single gig with his band, and the other user could generate a sort of revenue from his guitar. A win-win situtation, which is always more than welcomed.
Another question which comes into a mind is:

Do we have to own everything, even if we know before, that we will use it, two or maybe three times in a total? Just ask yourself.

The second feature of BizShake, that will be available on the platform, is called SmartPawn. This feature could have helped us in my example too. It would use a different way of solving the problem, but honestly, it could have been the better one in the end. With SmartPawn one user can lend to a second user money for a short term of time. The loan have to be backed by another item from the user who need the money. Once the loan is payed back, the asset is transfered back to its orginial user. Easy to understand and use.

Both of systems I described above will be supported by dApps: SmartDispute, SmartIdentify, SmartCertify and SmartAPI. They will all work together as the underlying structure to provide a secure, easy and fast experience without any hassle for all BizShake users.

SmartIdentify for example will use all sorts of data from different sources about the users, to assure his/her credibility. Compiling those into a database using the consensus of users and thus creating a scoring system with different level of trustworthiness.

The other dApp I would like to put some light on is the SmartDispute.

In my own example from the beginning, we had some damage on two instruments and had to pay a high fee for it in the end. Lessee told us to paz unreasonable price, and what's more, there was not a place for any discussions!
With SmartDispute those kind of negotiations will be handled by randomly choosen trusted users with the highest level of credibility. They will form a panel of Arbiters and will settle the dispute. They will receive a commision for every dispute they help to solve. This is just one way to gain some sort of revenue in the BizShake ecosystem.

You can also get a commission for veryfing the rented assets of others users. How? You need to be a qualified profecional of particular asset, like electronics, music instruments or in any other usable field, and you will be registered as a certified user in the affiliate program.

So, to sum up - BizShake will provide a platform for easy and secure usage of renting and pawning of all sorts of assets. Using the smart contract features of the blockchain technology to provide a transparent and safe experience for users. The BizShake ecosystem will create many different options to earn commission and interest for those contributing to the system with their work. In addition to those already great features, other business owners will have the possibillity to create their own applications and implement them into the BizShake ecosystem. This is another win-win situation, created by the BizShake Team and their fantastic project.
