But throughout this year Tether has repeatedly raised suspicions among users due to the lack of transparency in operations, lack of formal audit and confirmed balances. All this gave rise to doubts about reliable fiat support for tokens.
The main problems with Tether started in late March when the first reports of withdrawal delays in US dollars from the accounts of Bitfinex appeared.
