INTRODUCTION

There's an adage that says knowledge is power and when one is not informed he will be deformed, presently a lot of people try to get this knowledge by reading books that will create a positive impact in their lives which has led to competition among the writer's. We all know that once there's competition in any business it leads to the production of fake or low quality products reason been that everybody will try to be on top and make the most profit out of the business, and in the long run readers will be discouraged from purchasing books.

For instance, A well known Author or writer might write or create a good content for people to read but another writer might just plagiarize his work and start selling to readers just because readers love reading that particular book and his purpose of pliagarizing the work is for profit reasons and not for the impactation people get from the book by the main author forgetting the saying that hard work pays. iShook is a platform that will provide a singular social network gateway between authors and their audiences. iShook is for the social reader who searches for better access channels to their desired content. An author can self-publish for a minimal fixed yearly fee rather than a fee for each work, as such, readers can then consume content directly from authors, sharing their thoughts and insights straight through the social networking platform containing like-minded individuals.
