The growth of SPIES price since its inception on May 9, 2016 is 4176.7% in US dollars and 367.0% in BTC. The portfolio grew from $47,382 to $31,112,011 in this period. The status of the portfolio in real time can be monitored in the fund’s profile on cyber•Fund.

The top five portfolio assets contributed 41% to the overall portfolio growth since the latest report on August 16, 2017. Their share in the portfolio constitutes 75.4%. Bitcoin’s price grew by 3.4%. The price of Ethereum grew by 7.3%, EOS lost 10.4%, Tezos gained 3.4%, distrcict0x gained 14.4%. Since the last report on August 16, 2017, the composition of the top five portfolio assets by portfolio share remained the same, though the direction of the asset prices changed. The other assets that constitute only 24.6% of portfolio were responsible for 59% of overall portfolio growth. The appearance of such a long tail in the asset profitability distribution can be explained by a milder growth of Bitcoin compared to the previous week.

The assets outside the top-5 grew by 20.7% in average. The most rapid growth among this group (“Other”group) was shown by the following assets: Bitcoin Cash jumped by 121.39% with the share in the portfolio of 1.35%, Monero increased by 99.46% with the share of 1.66%, Ripple added 81.15% occupying only 1.87%, DAO.Casino grew by 38.96% with the share of 1.27%, Factom tokens increased by 38.5% with a share of only 0.37% of the portfolio. Now Bitcoin Cash is continuing its rivalry with Bitcoin and is closely approaching Bitcoin’s 24-hour trade volumes.
