As we all are aware of the fact that Blockchain Technology is revolutionary and have infinite applications. The core function of a Blockchain is to record transactions which would be visible to public without having any fear of manipulation or fraud. 

All the cryptocurrency projects are based on their independent or dependent blockchain. Blockchain Technology is actually not new, it was there for years but after the widespread use and popularity of cryptocurrencies, developers tried to apply it as many places as they could. By doing this, the developers get to know it's huge potential and numerous applications.

Now, with use of Blockchain technology, a digital ballot box can be created in which all the voting will be done using the smartphone from sitting at the home. There will be no need to go anywhere for casting a vote. In future, possibly one can cast his/her vote using his own smartphone by logging in a particular user id within a Blockchain user interface.

The voting will be visible to everyone and will not be prone to editing or manipulation. 

This is the idea which many companies are working on. 

As we know that voting in a democratic country is not safe, even after using the proper security protocols. Many types of manipulations can be done without any knowing about that. There are many parties involved in a voting system and naturally, no one wants to be defeated. So, in majority of cases, many parties tries to manipulate the voting results by using various techniques. 

For example: Hacking the voting meter, hacking the central database where the votes are being recorded, bribing the voting system officials and somethings like that. 

But after the use of Blockchain technology, Voting will be more responsive and hassle free. 

A digital Ballot box will represent a smart and highly cost effective solution for casting votes and it will not be prone to any manipulation, voting meters tampering as well as error while recording a vote into the system. In near future, a person might cast vote by sitting in the comfort of his home and by simply touching his smartphone. 

Well, if this turns into a reality, the voting system will be highly revolutionized. People will actively cast their votes without any hassle and problem. And more and more people will be encouraged to cast their vote.
