Currently, it’s also very expensive for companies to research and pursue blockchain solutions. And the majority of private blockchain usage in business is probably not based on need. It's based on trying to not get left behind in implementing the latest thing. Most experiments fail upon realizing that it really isn't necessary. Since any widespread adoption is still far away, I think we will see plenty of caution from industry in the years to come.
But don’t misunderstand me, blockchain is definitely here to stay.
