RE: Interoperability Between Blockchains is a Real Necessity

in #blockchain5 years ago

Dear @juanmolina

sorry for such a late comment. I only now had a chance to read your older publication.

Hundreds, thousands ... it doesn't matter. The truth is that very soon everything we know as the internet will be a great Blockchain.

Don't you have an impression, that few years ahead there will be only very few blockchains out there?

Look at old days - everyone had email on different provider, websites has been very different from each other, there were tons of different chats and social media sites.

Few years later - only few giants really matter. With blockchain we will probably end up having similar situation. Out of those thousands only several will actually matter and rest will have no traction. No engagement. No users. No transactions.

Enjoy monday :) Upvote on the way ...
Yours, Piotr

This is a very valid point.
The comparison you make with email companies is very interesting, perhaps a similar phenomenon occurs with blockchain, although we must remember that blockchain has a unique and disruptive character that may not behave like its predecessors of the classic internet.

A hypothetical monopolization of the new era of Internet with Web 3.0 and all crypto technology would be subject to other investment standards due to its fully distributed nature.

Time will tell.
