INTRODUCTION

The world wide web came like a thief in the night, nobody was expecting such innovation and so it took much time and improvement before it became widely accepted, now it has gotten to a stage where most people cannot go a day without using the internet, it is estimated that an average American spends approximately 12 hours online each day in one form or another, that is 3/4 of every human's waking hours!.

But just like the internet came and dominated, another radical technology was invented in 2009, in certain privileged circles, it is regarded as the next best thing after the invention of the internet, this invention brought with it decentralisation and the decentralisation is not just limited to certain aspects of human lives, it can be applied to every aspects of human life, but one notable aspect that it first revolutionised is the financial aspect.

WHAT IS THIS TECHNOLOGY AND HOW IS IT REVOLUTIONARY?

This Amazing technology revolutionised how we send money, it introduced a truly peer-to-peer transaction system, before the invention, if we want to send funds, we have to involve third party organisations such as banks in the transactions and this created a paper trail and normally wastes time because most times, they would require your physical presence in the banks, but with this technology, you can stay in the comfort of your home and send funds anywhere around the world in a matter of seconds without involving any third party.

The Name of this revolutionary technology is Blockchain Technology, initially blockchain Technology was just used to send funds in the form of cryptocurrency but as time went on, Smart contracts was invented in the Blockchain and this made it possible for blockchain technology to be applied to all forms of human life including the internet itself, one notable platform that Blockchain technology has been successfully applied is Steemit.

I admit it, i am a hardcore blockchain Enthusiast and while in my search for Revolutionary Blockchain projects, i stumbled upon this amazing project called Multiven.
