Seele Business SWOT Analysis

For this article I will be discussing seele project once again but this time I will doing something different, you will agree with me that the best way to determine the future success of any project is by doing a SWOT analysis on the project to determine any internal or external factors that might mitigate the project from achieving its objectives. Therefore I will perform a SWOT analysis on seele project for this SWOT analysis I will be determining the strength and weakness of the project which are the internal factors and opportunities and threats as the external factors and I will drawing my conclusion in the end if the project is viable or not. Let's get started...

Strength

• Blockchain 4.0: As we already know Seele is a blockchain 4.0 and this is one of the greatest strength of Seele because other blockchain technology are still based on blockchain 3.0 while Seele is based on blockchain 4.0 and this features will enable Seele to penetrate into the market to compete and gain wider adoption.

• The team: The success of any project depends on the team that is handling the affairs of the project and Seele have got honest and experienced team members to lead the project to success.

• Large Community support: Seele has a large community support with their telegram channel having a total of 31k+ members and twitter followers having a total of 15k+ members as at the time of writing this article.

• Global Presence: Seele has a global presence with their offices located in many countries of the world like USA, China, UK, Singapore this show Seele has a global presence and this will make the project to have faster adoption.

• Main Net Soon to be released: While most blokchain project that started years ago are still building their blockchain Seele will release their main net this 2018 Q4 and this a great achievement for the project.

• Hard Cap Reached During ICO: Seele reached their hard cap during the ICO and have raised enough money to build the project

Weakness

• No Mobile App: As technology shifts more people make use of their smart phones than they use their computer and going through Seele website and white paper, I did see where they mention building a mobile wallet app which will enable users to perform transactions and think as a blockchain 4.0 they should be thinking in that direction, though I believe they will do something about it in the future.

• No Social media Activities: Seele has low social media activities as witnessed on their Twitter, Facebook and other media channels and I think they should engage their community members by sharing updates and some interesting news on their social media for their community members to stay up to date.

Opportunities

• Untapped Market: Blockchain is still on its early stage of development and there is a huge potential market ahead of the industry and Seele will tap into this huge opportunities with their blockchain 4.0

• Listed On the exchanges: Seele is already listed on Huobi and HADAX one of the china's largest crypto exchange after completing their ICO

• Global Connection: The founders of Seele are people who are well known in their field of expertise and will use their influence to connect to a whole lot of industry leaders and this will present the opportunity for the project to expand and gain quick adoption.

Threats

• Scam Incidence: Just like the saying goes, Internet never forgets, a quick Google on Seele will show how two scammers posed as an admin in Seele telegram group to Steal Over $1.8 Mln from the Seele investors during the ICO, though Seele team demonstrated their honesty by refunding the investors and this has even make them to come out and wax stronger because their ICO sold out pretty quick and they reached their hard cap.

• Competition: No doubt every business will surely face competition and Seele will face competition as more projects will come up with the idea of blockchain 4.0

• Regulation: Regulations is a big threat to the use and adoption of crypto currencies, while some countries has placed a total ban on crypto currencies other have adopted it, while other are still observing the technology, if more countries will place a ban on crypto currencies it will affect not just the project but the space as a whole.

Conclusion

After the SWOT analysis it is clear that the strength of Seele project is far more than its weaknesses and the opportunities Seele presents out weighted the threat that face the project, so i am concluding on a note that Seele project is a viable project and I believe in the future the project will be among top blockchain project
