CFTC will discuss Blockchain and crypto money this week

According to the newly published meeting agenda of the Commodity Futures Commission (CFTC), the main topic will be Blockchain technologies and cryptographic currencies

The meeting agenda was announced Monday afternoon. The topic of the first two panels will be Blockchain's potential applications to the market and regulations that concern the futures markets of cryptographic currencies.

The theme of the CFTC opening panel will be Blockchain
At the opening of the Blokchain panel: Jennifer Peve, executive director for business development and fintech strategy at Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation (DTCC); Charley Cooper, general manager of distributed notebook startup R3; and the deputy director of the CFTC's Market Surveillance Department (DMO) Dan Busca.

On the panel's agenda: Technological capital market infrastructure and the potential impact of regulatory reporting will be highlighted.

45 minutes after meeting on crypto money
Jerry Brito, managing director of Coin Center, with crypto money markets and editing panel planned to start 45 minutes after the other panel; Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP private legal counsel Gary DeWaal; Richard Gorelick, CEO of RGM Consultants, trading company; and DMO director Amir Zaidi.

This panel will focus on the crypto currencies themselves and their futures based on the agenda. The changes in the market and the arrangements surrounding them will also be discussed.

It is time for the panellists to have regulatory debates in many countries. A week ago, CFTC chief J. Christopher Giancarlo made a statement about the role that regulations could play in future crypto money markets in front of the US Senate Banking Housing and Urban Affairs Subcommittee. The members of the commission will speak at the opening of Giancarlo as well as Brian Quintenz and Rostin Behnam.
