Blockchain Operation from Russia

With each passing day, the number of institutions that want to use blockchain technology is increasing. Countries and institutions are taking new steps to benefit from blockchain technology. One of these institutions is the Russian Bank, Vnesheconombank.
In recent years, Russia's development bank, Vnesheconombank, has been in a positive attitude towards blockchain technology. In 2017, Vneshemconombank opened a blockchain-focused research center aimed at testing the use of blockchain technology and improving its knowledge of technology.

Last week, Russia's state development bank Vnesheconombank (VEB) signed an agreement with Kaliningrad in the western part of Russia to test the blockchain-based payment system. Signing of the deal, Kaliningrad Governor Anton Alkikhanov and VEB President Sergei Gorkov passed on the sign.

In the statement Anton Alikhanov made:

"I believe blockchain technology will help to improve the quality of our region's management decisions." "

State authorities and development bank partners believe that blockchain technology will improve the quality of social services by increasing transparency and reducing costs. It is therefore aimed at using blockchain-based "social payments" and "electronic services" applications to improve the efficiency of public and corporate governance by planning to collaborate to bring modern IT solutions to the region.

Sergei Gorkov said in his statement on the subject:
