IAGON || The Computing Revolution.

Artificial Intelligences has impacted our lives in so many ways, some subliminal, some others outrightly obvious. From improving search engine results and providing product recommendations to suit our taste on the Internet of Things (IoT) to improving healthcare diagnosis and treatment. Not to mention the giant strides it has accomplished in the transportation industry by powering self-driving cars and also how it has raised the level of security.

Like a specie threatened of extinction, experts fear that AI may run into a technical wall. The reason for these concerns they say, are the technological limits of contemporary computing.

... But what do they mean? What are the technological limits of contemporary computing?🤔

Deep learning is the most emerged aspect of artificial intelligence. It entails training machines to think and make their own decisions. Deep learning developers try to mimic the processes of the brain by developing artificial neural networks in machines to allow them identify patterns in a given dataset input. As machines lack common sense or general Intelligence, the quality of an AI's output depends highly on the amount of datasets used in training it and data required is usually very huge that Data scientists and analysts have dubbed it "Big Data".😏

However, with Big Data comes the problems of data storage and computational power to process it and artificial intelligence is pushing computing to the extremes. Thomas Sterling, a high computing performance expert suggest that to achieve a higher computing milestone - exascale computing (10^15 floating points operation per second) - our old ways of building supercomputing must be ripped apart, root and branch[1].😂

As regards data storage, acquiring a storage facility for such big data is just a tip of the problem iceberg. Security is also of utmost concern as any data leak would attract consequences including loss of credibility, fines, lawsuits e.t.c. especially now that more stringent regulations such as regulation EU 2016/679 are introducing certain restrictions on data processing and handling.

For data processing and storage, most organizations lack the equipments carry out the operations, hence they resolve to hosting and processing this data on a remote server through a set of cloud computing protocols. The cost of these services are usually not friendly as the cloud computing space is dominated by some giants, namely; Google cloud, AWS, Microsoft and IBM.
You wouldn't blame them as they have invested alot of funds in building these services from ground up and in maintenance.

Ripping our old ways of building supercomputers apart to build and maintain a new one ground up as Thomas Sterling suggested may be a good idea, but it would lead to the same high cost of services accessible only by large companies as experienced now in cloud computing services.

I know you might think, what then can we do to get affordable and secure supercomputing?🤔😏

What if we seemingly recycle instead of ripping? - Recycle our unused computational processing power (CPUs and GPUs) and storages to orchestrate a global supercomputer available to small, medium and large enterprises?😏

IAGON (pronounced eye-ah-gun) is an open sourced intelligent platform which orchestrates unused processing power and storage capacities of all smart devices integrated into the its blockchain in order to able to perform complex computational processes and store big data files.
IAGON also does not neglect data security as it's platform is secured with its blockchain 256 hashing algorithm and data encryption technologies while still being data regulations compliant.

As it intelligently distributes data across its network of nodes for either data mining or storage, IAGON can be seen as a decentralized platform which aim to provide cloud storage and processing services to individuals and companies at only a fraction of the cost required by the giants in the cloud services space. Reduced costs of these cloud computing services will immensely reduce the cost of entry into the AI industry and more start-up enterprises will see the light of day, in contrast to how the high cost has hitherto snuffed out their idea.

Providers of the unused computational processing units and data storage facilities and incentivized with the IAGON token (IAG). One primary importance about the economy of this platform is the paradigm shift it will cause as to how individuals purchase smart devices as Iagon brings out the true asset nature of these devices by being able to monetize unused potentials of the device.

IAGON primarily contains three sections; machine learning algorithm, blockchain and encryption/decryption protocol. All working in unison to ensure security, flexibility and affordable decentralized cloud computing and storage services to allow for further AI development.


IAGON's Machine Learning Algorithms.

IAGON is a self-learning platform. Through it's ML algorithm, It's constantly making decisions in its dynamic environment with the aim of optimizing performance through a method known as Reinforcement Learning. Based on the Markov Decision Process, the platform continues to determine an optimized reward system that improves it's performance.

Being a dynamically learning platform, the orchestrator of its computing orchestra (Smart Computing Grid) - the AI-Tracker - is made up of more than 100 machine learning algorithms. There's no doubt as to why the whitepaper calls the AI-Tracker system the brain of the smart computing grid, as it is responsible for;
• Connecting multiple producers to consumers.
• Encrypting/decrypting data.
• Optimally allocate and transmit encrypted file slices to unused Computing resources.
• Reward idle CPUs, GPUs and storage facilities contributors to IAGON.

These functions of the AI-Tracker coordinates the use the joined resources to ensure a rapid and optimal performance of the computing grid. To bring into perspective, the AI-Tracker can be likened to a computer processor, the recycler 😏. It brings out the value of idle resources and coordinates it for affordable use enabling smaller start-ups to jump into the AI space and allow consumers of AI services to enjoy more of it.


IAGON's Blockchain.

Whenever blockchain is mentioned, there's a weight of integrity the name suggests to those who know about it. IAGON ensures node honesty using the blockchain. To facilitate development in order to be able to compete in this very competitive space, IAGON operates a private blockchain but allows for user flexibility by supporting multiple blockchains namely; Ethereum and Tangle.

Blockchain allows data provided to be broken into blocks and sent across nodes according to it's consensus algorithm. IAGON which makes an unconventional use of the blockchain, makes use of the proof of variance algorithm, which allows miners to be upgraded or degraded based on their performances and contributions to the platform determined by algebraic and probability theories. The healthy competition between miners on the network is fair and encourages newer and existing miners as they profit from mining data and increasing processing assets.

On this unconventional platform, Data is mined when data signature from a data input is matched, the corresponding data object in the data block found and released as an output. To ensure the integrity of results, a matching algorithm confirms and validate the output data with its hash and header respectively. Honest nodes are rewarded and malicious and rogued nodes are blocked from the miners community.

Through the blockchain via data sharding, IAGON achieves privacy and anonymity of both miners and individual users or companies. To violate privacy miners or individual users would have to have access to multiple amounts of blocks which is not possible as data are distributed randomly according to the proof of variance. This unique method of anonymously processing data while maintaining privacy allows IAGON to maintain to data regulations and hence empower the AI industry to forge ahead without any data troubles. It also eliminates the paperworks and penalties associated with each breach of privacy, therefore lowering the entire cost associated with data handling which encourages businesses of all sizes to come on board into data sciences and utilization.


IAGON's Encryption/Decryption Protocols

The importance of data security cannot be overestimated and IAGON understands this. To consolidate its blockchain SHA 256 hashing algorithm, it encrypts all it's stored data with the AES-256 encryption standard such that only the data owner indicated by being in possession of the private key can decrypt, read, delete, change, retrieve the data from all the encrypted and distributed file slices. In other words, IAGON provides more than a "surface solution" to data security unlike the data lake architecture which only has a frozen top like a lake during winter. IAGON drops the temperature further until the entire lake is frozen to avoid free access when there's a hack by encrypting all stored data.

Interestingly, this is a unique step towards decentralization as any platform can integrate with IAGON to improve it's services, in addition to its security and data processing features. IAGON is able to integrate with current database structures including SQL, NoSQL, Private Blockchain, hyperledger, Big Data databases or Public blockchain.

A major problem in AI has been the Outlier effect. Often times, it is placed there to sabotage the the development of AI by some critics. IAGON will clear doubts of Big Data analysts and AI devs as to whether the data was tainted or corrupted by an individual as they will be properly secured and anonymously processed to get desired results. Doubts arising from unexpected results can be channeled elsewhere and not the data confidentiality.

I've been fascinated with AI for quite sometime already and I found your post both fascinating and very informative. Not to mention how easy it is to read your content.

Somehow you've managed to grab my attention from the very beginning. AI is definetly facing many challenges ahead and it seem that there is currently more and more AI projects build on blockchain.

And clearly iagon has an interesting approach.

So to summarize (Im not sure if I understood well). Iagon is not a marketplace for AI businesses, right? They are aming to provide cloud storage and processing power? Which obviously would reduce operating costs of running any AI?

That indeed would allow small businesses (within this industry) to move forward much faster.

Well, Iagon aims to facilitate the springing up of AI Ideas as they will provide both "world-limit" processing power and storage, all at a very reduced cost. The AI industry is a yearning market for Iagon as it will provide the computing power, storage, privacy and security needed by it. Iagon is not a marketplace for AI businesses but rather Iagon will infiltrate into the AI market.

Yeaa...Iagon is providing the requirements of contemporary AI Ideas by pushing further the boundaries of computing to a global recycling smart computing grid and storage.
