Faxport - The Sports Business Service and Funding Platform

Introduction:
The sport industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the world. Research has shown that the gross output value of the sport industry worldwide is greater than 2000 billion USD and will grow even bigger in the future. With such a fast growing industry, many problems arise, which needs to be solved as soon as possible to enable further growth.

Current Problems:

• Data of many companies are not easily accessible
• Key information of industry are unable to be verified
• Lack of Mobility in terms of information asymmetry

The Solution - Faxport:
A currently ongoing project called Faxport aims to solve this problems by using the blockchain technology. Faxport is a decentralized sports bussiness service and funding platform that is going to use the distributed ledger technology to increase security and trust levels. By doing so they want o reduce abuse and establish a trust system for the global sports industry.

Faxport - Usecases:

• FAX GO: Crowdfunding platform for Sports based on the blockchain with great security and transparency. Investments can be done using FAS tokens with the possibility of getting income after the project has launched successfully.
• FAX Data: Sports Business Database which records global sports industry data, but also company information, industry information, supply and venue information and even more. Since everything will be based on the blockchain, the database will be 100% transparent, secure and trustful.
• FAX Connect: Hepls to connect all sports participants around the world and enables new partnerships, connections and possible businesses.
• FAX Career: Offers the possibility for job seekers, but also recruiters to find the perfect match.

Faxport ICO:
Faxport is currently doing their ICO to collect funds for further development and project growth. You can still participate in their token sale, which will last until the 30th may 2018. Their presale was a success and the project so far has already reached its softcap of selling more than 40.000.000 FAS tokens. There will be a maximum of 90.000.000 FAS tokens for the whole presale and crowdsale. You can contribute to the Faxport project using Ethereum. 1 ETH currently grants 3,161.76 FAS.
FAS tokens are based on the Ethereum blockchain and therefore are ERC20 compatible tokens.

Team and Advisors:
Regarding the team, there are currently 16 members in researching and developing this project. Team members are mainly working in Hong Kong, but also China, Japan, Europe and NA are involved. With their ICO funds, more team members across the world is to be expected. The team has stated, that they expect to increase their team size to 40 members in the upcoming 6 months.
What's special about their advisor is that Faxport is represented by the famous soccer player Roberto Carlos. Roberto Carlos is one of the most famous legendary soccer players for Real Madrid and player for the the brazilian national soccer team. He acts as a Global Promotion Ambassador to help promoting Faxport as well as getting building a greater network for more upcoming partnerships.

Roadmap:
As you can see on the roadmap, the Faxport team has been established around the 4th quarter in 2016. So far they have reached quite a lot of milestones such as the launch or their beta as well as establishing collaborations. Currently the project is doing their ICO to raise funds for further developments. Further down the road there is still a lot to do in order to achive their goals.

My opinion:
In my opinion, Faxport is a very interesting project. The team has a great concept, which solves an existing problem in the sports industry, which for sure will grow even bigger in the near future. Also having a celebrity, the famous Roberto Carlos to promote Faxport, I really think this is the right way to do marketing. I'm personally very excited to see how this project will develop in near future and I'm very optimistic, that Faxport is a great blockchain project of 2018 with a high potential for success.
