"Higher Expectations: Two Things The World Will Likely Expect When Choosing A Crypto In The Future!" My Video Blog
As with any technology, the standards increase and expectations grow higher as time moves onward. I can remember when a Megabyte was considered a large amount of storage space but that was only temporary as Gigabytes and Terabytes became the new norm for hard-drive storage space.
Time and development always bring about a desire for more as knowledge increases and advances within our world! When it comes to cryptos, I believe that these kinds of expectations also exist. You see, there was a time when Bitcoin users never worried or cared about scalability because it wasn't an issue in the early stages of the world's first cryptocurrency. Nowadays, it is a real concern as more and more users come online and create a greater load on the system.
I believe that as we move forward, there will be at least two things that the individuals will expect when choosing a crypto and the first one is PRIVACY. This is why you have cryptocurrencies like Monero and ZCash because they use advance privacy features like Ring Signature Technology and Zero Knowledge Proofs as a way of verifying transactions on the ledger, without compromising privacy. Even Steem will be, to my understanding, offering high levels of privacy by using advanced encryption technology to maintain greater privacy and security for its users.
Secondly, I believe that a blockchain must be able to deliver and perform at a high level in order to successfully build APPLICATIONS upon it. We're seeing this even now with tokens like Golem that are built upon the Ethereum blockchain and Steemit which is built upon the Steem blockchain. It's obvious that the world is demanding more out of this technological movement and this is why I feel that the bar has been raised, as a result.
I don't know for sure what the future holds but I do think that it's very likely that users will continue to count on better technological advancements available to them in the crypto world.......Just as they do in every other sector of society.

Have a great day! :)
I feel like an overlooked aspect of a cryptocurrency is the ease of use for the average user. When cryptocurrency become mainstream and accepted by the masses, the average person is not going to be concerned about how things work in the background and what the blockchain does. They just want to know that they have X cryptocurrency and they can do Y with it. That's why I still think Bitcoin will be king in the future. People will understand that they have an amount of Bitcoin and they can buy stuff with it. Simple.
I think you make some excellent points and I agree with you about the need for more user friendliness with cryptocurrencies! As we both can agree, there is a bit of a learning curve and I think that there will need to be better applications developed so that the average user can carry out a transaction with relative ease. Thanks for sharing your insights! @teecharles

Cryptos as a store of value for a long term sounds scary sometime. Whats your opinion?
I like your perspectives and how you see things on this issue! I used to thing it was kinda scary but when I look at what's going on with the fiat system, I feel a lot better about cryptos in every way. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, @rajankc
