Extending Blockchains with Semantic Smart Contracts from Kirik

in #blockchain6 years ago (edited)

Smart contracts have explored into prominence in the blockchain industry. On the other side, the increasing popularity of the blockchain-based solutions has made scalability a main concern. Kirik borrows from this concern to achieve a scalable semantic meta-protocol that can be applied to any business needs in the blockchain environment. To do so, Kirik has designed a protocol based on a semantical logical layer to be implemented on top of the already existing blockchains.

The convergence of blockchain and AI

The advent of blockchain systems identified the need for scalable protocols supporting diverse transactions. In this light, a protocol that addresses the transactions consistency across different blockchains is highly needed.

The Kirik Blockchain itself has been designed upon a fork of Ethereum, the solution proposed, however, is not a blockchain-driven one, but rather represents a model of semantic smart contract that, in turn, can be applied across different blockchain platforms.

Moreover, AI development that is facing a new stage called AI 2.0 is supposed to contribute to the Kirik's system operations in such a way, that semantic smart contracts can be both operated by machines and humans.

The initialization of transactions will consume two stages of verification referring to IOTA and Kirik Blockchain. Semantic domains, the core of the system will allow to create institutions public and private blockchains to be used by customers and for internal requirements correspondingly.

Kirik's approach towards the language modeling

During its development stage, the protocol was built upon the semantic modeling proposed by a group of mathematicians in 1980's who had elaborated and described a concept of semantic modeling to be applied for computer programming.

In line with the concept, Kirik will implement use-case models alongside visual block diagrams to make the protocol adaptable to certain development needs. Since Kirik will use an open decentralized domain, it will allow to include the solution for multiple applications, that is, for conducting different semantic contracts. In this case, the main principle for the contracts operating remains unchanged, so that the contract can only be executed when certain criteria are met.

ICO Details

Kirik has already closed a $1 mln Pre-Sale round of funding. Main public sale will end on October 15, 2018.

Having declared a highly ambitious goal of overcoming the existing shortcomings of Ethereum blockchain, Kirik has endowed its protocol with the broad field of implementations. On the other side, however, the description of the project obviously lacks some improvements in delivering a clear structure of its solution, that can not be limited to logical formulas, but should rather than be expanded with technical computations that are directly attributable to the Kirik solution. Nevertheless, the pre-sale round has successfully closed as the project reached its hard cap. For the moment, Kirik semantic engine has been utilized for the needs of the telecommunication services. Given the success of the project, its solution can be implemented in logistics, banking, data management as well as any other industry segments that demonstrate the need for scalable network solutions. We will definitely continue to monitor the progress of the project.
