Cryptocurrency worth $80 million has been stolen by hackers from the Qubit DeFi platform.

A service known as a "bridge" between different blockchains is provided by Qubit on the platform. This means that deposits in one cryptocurrency can be withdrawn in another cryptocurrency.

And a flaw in the smart contract code used in the Ethereum bridge was exploited by hackers.

The Qubit team is also trying to offer hackers the largest possible bounty under its bug bounty program, reports Qubit.
