About 10 percent of the losses will be returned to a victim of the pig butchering scam who lost more than $1 million last year.
The victim was stunned and sounded like he was in tears when Forbes called him telling about the news.
The fake platform he was tricked into looks real, leading him to believe in investing fantastic sums — until the scammer and all his money disappeared.
