This is Andrius with our weekly roundup!
As you probably already know, this Friday, on December 1st, at 2 PM UTC our crowdsale starts, so be sure to mark the date.
It’s been an intense week for the whole BitDegree team and we’re doing everything to ensure a smooth crowdsale. So this week’s review is dedicated to our upcoming crowdsale and security during it.
We have created detailed guides on our blog that you will find really useful. We’ve covered such topics as:
- How to create an ether wallet;
- How to get ether;
- And how to participate in the crowdsale.
Secondly, we’ve gone an extra mile to ensure your security during the crowdsale and I would like to highlight some really important details:
All announcements will be posted on Twitter. Our priority one-way communication channel. We will never personally tweet you anything regarding the crowdsale. Same goes to Facebook.
Our only two-sided communication channel is Telegram.
We don’t have Slack, nor any other chat.
This week someone was trying to trick our community members about them being selected for a private sale. This was a scam. We will never send you any private messages asking for any transfers. We didn’t have and will NOT have a private sale. Everything is public and everyone will participate with equal opportunities.
We will NEVER send you any email with our crowdsale address. The only place where you’ll find the crowdsale address is our website. Right before the crowdsale, I will personally make a short video announcing several digits of our Smart Contract Address. Watch it. Make sure the address on the website matches the one from the video. The video will be posted on social media.
Also, this week on Thursday I’ll be making a live Q&A session on Facebook. You can already go to BitDegree Facebook page and post your questions. I will answer them all!
