Storjcoin X raises on rumours of functional software interfaces and new migration plans, concerns continue
The price has gained in value nearly 25% in the last two days, based solely on rumours and speculation.
Volumes are up over the exchanges that trade SJCX
Migration plans suggested by the developers include diluting the current supply by issuing another round of funding for development, the current amount of total supply shown below, may increase by as much as 51 million coins.
The developer says a functional drag and drop system of file storage is on it's way. Previous versions of the software had already implemented uploading of files and retrieval using just a web address. This functionality allowed for websites and databases that could be retrieved over a simple web address, however that functionality has since disappeared.
Questions from holders of the coins continue, top concerns are ease of use and lack of ownership in the company by way of holding the underlying coin. Developers have responded to investors by indicating that they are buying back SJCX coins from exchanges as businesses pay for storage, and that a much improved solution to actually storing items is on it's way. As of the writing of this article, there does not yet appear to be any github branch that has shown any of this functionality, which has shaken some investors confidence in the coin to date.
The month of May will prove to be a pivotal time for the project, a migration and raising additional money through a crowd sale are planned. Current investors are concerned that the upcoming crowd sale will devalue the currency for long time supporters. The project will garner some press in it's bid to migrate to the Ethererium network. Many investors are hoping that a functional, easy to use interface, will be ready by that time. If the software doesn't exist by that time, people who are new to the project may not be willing to support the project just based on idea and little demand for the storage.
this is a sexy article. if every article i saw was like this i would never stop smiling.
Thank you so much for your kind words! I will try to keep up the good work.
Sharing excess disk space on Storj is easy, but apparently actually using the service to store your files is not very user-friendly. The reverse seems to be true of Sia, which has a good UI but sharing space requires a big stake and is a technical pain.
I think the first to bridge the gap wins.
