@marknetwork - I'd say a big "yes" to this! I saw Mark Carney talk earlier last year about the UK Bank of England having a team researching and looking to implement blockchain tech (well, he called is DLT - Distributed Ledger Technology but same difference!) for the last 5 years.... his view was that every nation in the world would have their own digital currency underpinning their economy within the next 20 years, interesting....
