Essentially, a technology that was developed without "govt" input -- now, is being "adopted" and re-directed for "govt" purposes (which is fine) but THEN to "kick-out," penalize or control the original technology (and its users) and marginalize the purpose of its creation -- is very short-sighted. There will be a line and most people will be open to sharing in both arenas but some of its original creators and users will want nothing to do with the "govt" versions of these technologies and depending on the adoption of the "govt" versions will determine if those "original" users will be seen as "a real problem" .. IMO, these technologies don't need to be regulated because anything being transferred within the ledgers has already been seen, taxed and accounted for in some "fiat" somewhere.. If someone is doing something that is not legal, then that has nothing to do with the technology just like it has/had nothing to do with the fiat they were using BEFORE this technology existed.
