Is Ripple The Future Bitcoin?

Ripple has been in the blockchain battlefield for a while — since 2012, just not a major player before now. Although, it has had some breakthroughs since it’s inception, but just not significant before now.

The short-sighted investor may be quick to dismiss the potential rise of ripple’s value, perhaps because it had an average value of $0.018 in 2016 and it seem not to be pushing the borders. At the time bitcoin had an average around $1,050.

However, early last year ripple had more than a 100% increase in value within just 24hrs hitting $0.021 according to Coin Market Cap, while bitcoin had a 4% increase in value. This was a sign, but only a few understood this sign.

Furthermore, in the last half of 2017, ripple gained a whopping increase of over 4,000 times in value. It was as if there weren’t any more stops for it as soon as it hit the $1 mark. This meteoric rise thus led to it taking the second place just after bitcoin at market capitalization, though for a few time. Now however, it has settled on the number three spot, with. As at the time of writing this article ripple was trading at $2.93 USD, according to Coin Market Cap.

Therefore, I see a very bright future for ripple, and a brilliant year too. This is only the beginning of the “S curve.” What happens when the company — American Express adopts it’s plans to use ripple’s digital currency to connect with their clients in Europe and the US? Hmmm... Now this is just another reason why ripple can’t have a peak yet, more companies may follow suit.

All the way up ripple, nothing can stop you. Lol... This is only my opinion though.
