With 'qiibee', Brands Are Assured Of Their Customers' Loyalty

The 21st century is fast turning into a fast moving train with so many golden opportunities on the blockchain. This moving train aimed at total decentralization makes specific stops at strategic train stations for passengers to hop in.
That train is now at the ‘loyalty station’ for loyal passengers who have shown loyalty to the brands of their choice to hop in.

Choice has always been a major challenge between two alternatives in the history of mankind, human wants are unlimited and the resources available to satisfy them remain fixed and limited. An individual would always make his/her preferred choice and tend to be loyal to that brand for a long period of time.

A loyal customer base has been found to be beneficial to a business/ firm, these firms know that its survival and growth depends on the loyalty of customers because it is these set of customers that will determine the yearly profit of that organization. Some big co-operations try to reward their loyal customers by rewarding them for their patronage.

Ever wondered how many loyal customers 'Asa Griggs Candler' has since he contributed to the coca cola market? Even after his death he still has loyal customers.

I once met a patient who traveled a long distance just to meet my medical director in respect of her illness; she refused to other doctors and preferred to wait extra 3 hours for his arrival. When I decided to go through her records, I realized her records were as old as the hospital. (No wonder her choice)

qiibee having studied the ‘trend in loyalty disharmony ‘decided to make an entry in the loyalty market in 2015 with the hope of putting an end to the loyalty fragmentation quagmire. They chose to leverage on the ethereum blockchain in order to decentralize the loyalty program of companies.

  • Qiibee hopes to give customers the freedom they deserve by allowing them to collect, redeem, exchange, send or receive loyalty tokens on the qiibee platform. This would encourage the engagement of customers on the long run when they are rewarded with loyalty tokens. These tokens could be traded for FIAT currency or any other cryptocurrencies.

  • Because of the huge project qiibee is embarking on, they traditional transaction speed (4 transactions per second) (4TPS) of blockchain is not sustainable, they had to build their own blockchain on the etherum blockchain (which is an upgraded 20TPS) to solve the issue of scalability. Their private ethereum blockchain with a total of 4 nodes would mine new blocks when a new transaction is executed. This hopes to reduce the operational risk associated with loyalty programs already in progress.

According to their white paper, qiibee has already made a success with a mini- Meta-analysis the pilot studies (Lattesso roll-out) and (Sausalito’s roll-out) they embarked upon.

The Lattesso coffee cup project carried out in Switzerland was very promising because it produced a roll-out of 2 million coffee cup distributions, with a lattesso-cookie code that could be redeemed for a lattessocoin (LTS). These Lattesso tokens were received by customers in their wallet.

The German cocktail ‘Sausalito’s’ study had about 41 location across Germany with over 4 million customers each year.

  • With the huge success recorded in the above projects, there is hope for brands on a loyalty program, because loyalty is a core aspect of marketing and customer relationship. qiibee has introduced the plug and play mechanism where a brand can key into the qiibee ecosystem; in return, qiibee creates a customized token for these brands that are already plugged into the ecosystem. These brands can now distribute these loyalty tokens to deserving customers according to their company reward policy and algorithm. This is a win-win for the brand as they do not incur any setup cost in acquiring the loyalty tokens for their cherished customers, and the brands still get to receive their loyalty of these customers.

  • With qiibee, the customer is less troubled with the different loyalty tokens ascribed to him/her. These tokens can easily be stored on the qiibee platform for ease, customers can also choose to monetize their tokens by trading them all for FIAT currency or cryptocurrencies to third parties.

With qiibee, everyone is happy (brands and customers). There is a REWARD AND REDEMPTION Algorithm designed by the qiibee blockchain to make this work.

The reward pathway is illustrated below using this model where

  1. A brand sets a fixed loyalty budget,
  2. The brand buys QBX (qiibee token) from the public market,
  3. Brands send the QBX to qiibee where a smart contract creates their loyalty tokens,
  4. qiibee sends loyalty tokens to brand’s wallet.

The redemption pathway is a lot similar to the reward pathway:

  1. Brand decides on the fixed redemption budget
  2. Brand invests in X products/Services and sets the loyalty token price.
  3. Customers redeem their loyalty and receive products/services
  4. Brands receive loyalty tokens back and can start with the next reward.
