PARAGON AND IOTA COLLABORATE TO CREATE A PROVEN SUPPLY CHAIN SOLUTION FOR THE MARIJUANA INDUSTRY

Paragon and IOTA today announced a partnership aimed at creating a transparent, verifiable database that will help the marijuana industry move towards greater legitimacy. By combining IOTA's unique apprproach to encryption and distributed technology, Paragon hopes to provide faster technology at a lower cost. Paragon will build a fully verifiable database to track prescriptions as well as batch marijuana data (such as origin or THC rating).

The first version of Paragon will be built on the previously announced Ethereum block and will be transitioned to IOTA through the technical assistance provided by the nonprofit IOTA Foundation.
