Cool Cousin: Traveling Can Be Cooler

Do you like traveling, visiting unknown places, exploring new cultures and meeting new people? Oh, of course, you do! Everyone does, even if someone thinks he or she doesn't :)

And although it's cool to travel, it's still may be difficult or expensive for most of us to get the most from the trip. The problem as in many other cases is in commerce and I think I won't be wrong saying that the tourism industry is one of those which suffer the most. Not everyone may afford to use the services of a travel agency, but at the same time, it's hard to do research by yourself about places with which you are almost not familiar. Тhere are no guarantees that online content you'll find is honest and doesn't have a purpose to mislead inexperienced tourists. And that's where Cool Cousin comes to the rescue...

The Cool Cousin

In short, Cool Cousin is a project called to connect local residents with tourists wishing to visit their area.
Just take yourself as an example, how much do you know about your city/country, everything you can tell and all the cool places you like visiting. Where would you take your non-native friend or cousin if they decided to visit you? And now think about those places that are most often visited by tourists...
Or vice versa, whether you are an active tourist, how cool it would be to have a cool cousin with the same interests in every place that you're going to visit. Now you have this opportunity :)

It's important to mention, that Cool Cousin is not a prototype in the making, it's an up-and-running project with a great audience, the only issue is that it exists in a centralized way. The next is step is to go to the blockchain to achieve a better scalability, popularity, reliability as a consequence, trust of the community.

Steemit for travelers?

In addition to the usual platform for finding friends that will introduce you to new places, Cool Cousin is going to create a trusted resource where local can create content related to their area, travelers may leave reviews about places and cousins, and everyone may be sure that the content is not paid or promoted by any business to benefit. Really sounds like Steemit for travelers.

Cool Cousin (CUZ) Tokens

CUZ tokens, which are currently offered on public token sale will be used to power Cool Cousin network. Users (travelers) will use them to pay cousins for their work. Also, it will be used to reward authors for their contribution to the community, like writing posts and reviews, sharing photos, attracting new people to the platform...
And the last, CUZ tokens may be used for commercial proposes to promote some content, which will definitely help the community in the future, but at the same time, Cool Cousin's team clarifies, that users will be able to clearly see and separate paid content from free one. And again, I think it's gonna be something like "promoted" section on Steemit.

As I've already mentioned, Cool Cousin's team is currently doing an ICO and 90% of the cap is already reached, which is not surprising considering the team and the idea behind, and of course the fact that it's already a successful and fast-growing company.
I really hope these guys will have a huge success and one day I'll see them available in Armenia, too!
